How to Backup Your Whatsapp Messages and Media To Google drive.

Requirements

1.You need to have a Google Account(G mail) activated on your phone.
-Google Drive is free for 20GB Space.

2.Install Google Play Services on your phone from Google Play Store.
-Google Play Services are only evailable for Android version 2.1.3 and higher.
-To check the  version of the android on your phone,Go to Settings>About phone.

3.Make sure you have enough space on Google Drive to accommodate your messages,including
 photos,videos and audio files.

How To Create Google Drive Backup.

1.Open WhatsApp.
2.Go to Menu>Settings>Chats and Calls>Chat Backup.
3.Tap on  Google Drive settings and set the backup  frequency then tap on Backup to begin the process.
-The first full backup will take a  few minutes and then subsequently increment to add the newly created data.

Restoring Google Drive Backup.

1.Configure the same Google account used to backup you data to your phone.
2.Reinstall WhatsApp.
3.After mobile number verification,WhatsApp will restore your  chats and media.

How To Delete Your Backup from  Google Account.

1.Go to Google Drive
2.Log in with your Google account.
3.Click on the Gear icon on the right.Go to Settings>Manage Apps
4.Look for Hidden app data on the list.
5.Delete Hidden app data  and you are done.
