How To Delegate And Share Access To Your Gmail Account


Gmail Delegation
You can delegate access to your Gmail account to another person to send,read and delete messages
on your behalf.Google allows up to to 10 users to access you personal Gmail account via delegation.
You can delegate access to your friend,colleague or spouse.If you have multiple users accessing your
personal Gmail ,may result to temporary lockout due to service degradation.This is a better way to
share your email account.

 On Google Apps,you can delegate access to your administrator.
The delegate is able to access your contacts by clicking the "contact" link,however he/she is not able
chat on your behalf.
How to enable account delegation.

 1.Login to your Gmail Account.
 2.Click on the gear icon on top right.
 3.Select settings.
 4.Click the Accounts and Import Tab.
5.Under Grant Access to your account,Click Add Another Account link.
6.Add the email address of the person you want to give access.
7.Confirm Grant Access.
